Sphere345
At the beginning, there was Sphere3, than it grew to Sphere4, and it turned out that this year there will also be the number 5, the installation with elements from virtual simulations 3 and 4. This is the snapshoot from VR walk and early version of Sphere4, my new artwork currently in development. Here I am, discovering in silico plant growth within simulation Sphere4 from the MetaGarden series, this time also in #vr made with Unity3D. I am streaming latest versions daily on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/tanja_ultramono so you are welcome to join, follow, comment, share.
Research and development of new installation from the MetaGarden Sphere3 series
Few photos and sketches from my recent research visits to Institute of Physics Belgrade and Department of Surface Engineering, Jozef Stefan Institute and consultations about new installations regarding fusion energy and treatment of water with plasma…I always get to learn new things and discuss the details and elements of procedures that are truly inspiring. As always, I have a lot of questions for Gregor Primc, and Zoran Lj. Petrovic, Nevena Puac, Nikola Skoro, and they are super patient with me, and willing to help with their advises.
Carboflora
Documentation of the installation 🌱Carboflora is since yesterday on view in Cankarjev Dom till 1.3.2020. curated by Miha Colner. Presentation is a part of the series 2050 dealing with the future of humankind, with many more interesting events scheduled this month. Thanks to Uršula Cetinski, Nina Pirnat Spahič, Damjan Gorenjc. Carboflora is a generative meditative environment containing many types of objects, some generated, and some actual 3D reconstructions of carboniferous plants. The agent (us, the viewers) walks through the space searching for specific trees and while doing so, creates the soundscape. Carboflora is part of the Sphere2, a sphere of things where hypothetical and actual are overlapping each other, while creating ur-forms as futuristic machines that might help us create more sustainable future.
From the #archive: Metamorphic installations and accompanying album (first version)
Images from the first version of the research album accompanying work on the MetaGarden1 project. Documentation of the collection of elements for the Elixir Machine, reading of historical recipes for medicaments and elixirs, deciphering the meaning behind procedures and figuring out ingredient behind coded names.
