SynthPets is a playful exploration of AI and robotics, inspired by my robotic vacuum cleaner. These cyber-organic companions emerge as sketches, 3D sculptures, and AI-generated forms, examining our relationship with electronic pets and devices. SynthPets delves into the anatomy of our connections with tech helpers—guiding, supporting, and challenging us in our daily lives. This project celebrates the wild, unfolding present of human-tech symbiosis, where evolving AI companions redefine our boundaries.

SynthPets is inspired by the evolution of AI and robotics, paying homage to my own robotic vacuum cleaner. These mysterious, cyber-organic companions emerge through sketches, digital drawings, 3D sculptures, and AI-generated forms. SynthPets represents a return to my roots, exploring our entanglement with electronic pets and devices that permeate our lives. Much like my Supermono installation — a piece featuring hundreds of toy-like objects responding to presence through sound and video echoes, exhibited at numerous festivals and galleries worldwide — SynthPets delves into the anatomy of our connections with devices that offer both comfort and utility.
