AvantGarden artworks
AvantGarden artworks exist as audiovisual compositions, soundscapes, and virtual worlds, accessible both offline and on various metaverse platforms, exploring themes of recreation, regeneration, and freedom. Visitors can encounter unique, thought-provoking sculptural objects inspired by science, daily life, music, and ecology. From scientific sketches imagining the first flower on Earth to conceptual machines that clean air and water or track our emotions to help us stay in tune with ourselves, each proto-machine, little helper, and participant—has a distinct role in this reality workshop, experienced by thousands of people.
My primary omni-project over the past seven years, AvantGarden, operates as a laboratory of reality. It merges cosmic and bionic elements across various media, including ambient sounds, techno tracks, digital sculptures, and audiovisual artworks, forming spheres, events, and gatherings. These events embrace the concept of an ever-evolving techno-fantasy, inviting the audience to "become part of a work of art" by actively participating through dancing, informal conversations, music-making, and shaping future events. Sometimes these events become "phygital," merging physical installations in galleries and museums with online events featuring international participants and visitors.
AvantGarden aims to inspire and be inspired, crystallizing thoughts and forms that are liberating, enriching, nourishing, and regenerative. It's about giving people a reason to be present and co-create the moment, where each moment is significant, and time becomes a key element of the artwork’s development while simultaneously erasing itself.
Immediacy becomes eternity, and vice versa. Time stretching is our focus, and it feels like our tools are in our hands, at least temporarily. Prismatic, spectral, holographic—like "being in the womb of an alien"—AvantGarden evokes a sense of uncharted territory. Some elements are familiar, some foreign, but everything should feel welcoming, and everyone should feel protected.
